 The World of L.E. May was a collabrative first for both myself, and El. Scourou, bringing light to the inexperiences we both had, ultimately providing us with an invaluable insight into our own capabilties as a duo. El, who has had no experience modelling, was delighted to collaborate on a fully directed photoshoot.

This project had happened within the course of a month, began with subtle propositions of poses, character and subjects that would be great for artistic value in her own interests for her future; as an up-and-coming student with major fascination within Photography, we realised our potential and got to work organising dates, colour-gel saturates and further interests that would be fascinating to explore within our own capabilities.

Concluding the shoot which spanned several hours, I'm very pleased with the content we'd produced together. Upon our next collaboration, I'm certainly going to attempt particular perspectives which toy with your understanding as a viewer, that include more than saturates, posture and fashion; I feel we lacked this, and I lacked attempt to be more outgoing with focus and framing in some images over others. It's important to note, we were challenged by developing international circumstances. Nonetheless, El has been a great, important character to work with and I couldn't imagine a better personality for experiencing ability to flourish under perhaps some of the most difficult circumstances we'll ever face.
